Job Summary: Order Fulfillment Specialist II isdirectly responsible for optimizing our fulfillment and customerdelivery process on a daily basis. With a keen focus on the CustomerExperience, this role initiates the shipping process and optimizes theuse of on hand inventory. Working directly with their teammates inmultiple geographies, the role will also monitor inventory health acrossdistribution facilities, monitor customer & vendor agreements, identifyopportunities to ship goods directly from manufacturing facilities,troubleshoot and resolve workflow issues to ensure customer requirementsare met on an ongoing basis. Essential Duties: 60% - Lead the initiationof the shipping process across distribution facilities daily. Workscross functionally on error resolution to recover lost time, focus onmeeting customer expectations. 15% - Utilize systems to monitor expectedinbound inventory, expediting fulfillment where opportunities exist,managing customer expectations when issues are presented. 15% - Assistwith the scheduling and routing of planned shipments, leveraginginternal transportation software and external customer contact points.10% - Manage and enable opportunities to ship manufactured productsdirectly from manufacturing sites, reducing internal process time andcompressing customer delivery times.
