JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Summit Credit Union, voted top a workplace, has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a VP ofBusiness Services for our Dane County/Madison market. As the VP ofBusiness Services you will be responsible for cultivating relationshipsthat translate into new business for the credit union, and providingeducation, advice and a full range of financial services to a variety ofbusinesses including but not limited to start-up, entrepreneurial andservice-oriented business members, enabling them to increase theirfinancial power. The selected applicant will work from one of ourMadison area offices. Essential Functions: Drive budget and businessplan Grow business deposits and loans, increase interest andnon-interest income. Consult with members and potential members toidentify needs and propose solutions to meet those needs. Cross-sell afull range of business products and services. Lending Analyze credit andfinancial information of businesses for credit worthiness. Make lendingdecisions according to policy and prepare lending packages for review bysenior lenders and the Business Loan Committee as needed. Ensure properdocumentation and compliance is in place for all files in portfolio.Conduct an annual review of all loans in assigned portfolio, and developpositive working relationships with internal and external auditors andexaminers. Manage and monitor all loans within assigned portfolio thathave become delinquent or that are otherwise determined to be on ourwatch list and keep loan quality at industry accepted levels.Relationship management Develop partnerships with assigned branches thatresult in reciprocating referrals and an enhanced member experience thataddresses both the business and personal needs of our business members.Develop strong working relationships both inside and outside thedepartment that promote team values and a common purpose to create apositive member experience through all delivery channels, processes,procedures, and communications. Be involved in community and businessdevelopment activities that enhance the credit union\'s visibility andcreate new business opportunities. Cultivate and maintain all facets ofSEG relationships. Work with co-workers, other departments and outsidevendors to advance department operations and projects to increaseservice delivery, efficiency and profitability. Prepare regular reportson status of business lending portfolio for senior management.
