　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　We are seeking a Surgical Technician toassist the multi-disciplinary health care teamin clinical support functions andpromote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.TheSurgical Technicianwill work in collaborationunder the direction of the RN and Surgeonduring surgical procedures.

　　What will you do in this role?

　　Performscrub duties for various surgical procedures

　　Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases

　　Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

　　What qualifications will you need?

　　Vocational School Graduate

　　Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Technician in Surgery (NCCT)

　　Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

　　Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
