　　This is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time or part-time optometrist to join our vibrant team in our Townsville Castletown practice. This role would suit a practitioner with a special interest in ocular pathology or contact lenses and the practice is extremely well equipped with an OCT (with Biometry), Optos NG, Auto refractor/K, pachymetry, Cataract Retro-Illumination, Topography, I-care tonometer and VF. Pre-testing is performed by the retail team and you then still have 30minutes with each patient, so that you can give them the care they deserve.

　　Townsville is a gateway to the natural wonders of Magnetic Island as well as the world-heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. As the largest urban centre in Queensland, everything is here that you need and there is so much more to explore! Spend your days biking,hikingup Castle Hill, exploring the family-friendly public art trail, going to the Strand night markets, andvisiting the numerous local national parks which include the stunning Wallaman Falls (the highest, permanent, single-drop waterfall in Australia)
