We are looking for a stellar eyecare professional to grow with us. Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20-$30 plus commission and bonuses depending on licensing, experience, and productivity. If you enjoy working in a laidback environment and are looking for a workplace that makes work/life balance a priority, look no further!  Full-time and part-time hours available.  MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Sell, fit and dispense prescription eyewear.  * Answer telephone and direct calls or take messages  * Check voice mail and email messages  * Monitor text messages and in-store messaging consistently for messages/tasks  * Schedule appointments  * Enthusiastically greet incoming patients.   * Verify vision benefits and bill claims for eyewear.   * Adjust and repair eyeglasses.   * Work closely with optometrists to keep the patient flow moving efficiently.  * Any other tasks requested by supervisors.         KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience typically achieved with a minimum of 1-2 years in an optical environment. A successful candidate must meet the position requirements above in order to perform the essential functions of this position and achieve the outcomes/results indicated in this position description.
