Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Optical Sales Associate to join our team at Pearle Vision located in Brandon, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a flair for optical retail. Our team of Optical Sales Associates is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service that is second to none, so we take our hiring process seriously. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time, hourly position that pays $19 to $23 per hour, as well as commission and bonuses, paid bi-weekly. Benefits include paid sick and vacation leave, health insurance, and discounts on products and services. Part-time positions are available too. We offer schedule flexibility with the option of working 2-5 days per week.  Responsibilities -Greeting customers in a friendly and timely manner and identifying their needs -Identifying customer eyewear requirements and recommending prescription lenses, frames, and contact lenses -Providing customers with product knowledge and answering their questions -Processing orders and payments in accordance to the company policy and procedures -Informing customers of special promotions -Performing minor eye exams and adjustments -Fitting and adapting eyewear prescriptions -Taking care of optical instrumentation Requirements -One year old previous experience in optical sales or optometry -Excellent people skills -Team player with strong work ethic -Knowledge of eyewear product lines, fitting glasses and contact lenses EEOC Statement We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcome all qualified applicants.
