Description:
Resonetics is a fast growing medical manufacturing company in Davis.
The position of an Operator is split up into three departments. Laser Operators, QC and Wet Lab.
For laser operators they would like anyone with machine operating experience, they can come from CNC, food backgrounds, or medical device backgrounds. They have programs already set but have to take measurements , use an iPad to adjust the settings throughout the process. Candidates should be comfortable working with technology.
After parts come off the machines they go to the wet lab. For Wetlab they must be comfortable inspecting and wearing aprons glasses and additional PPE because may work with chemicals. No experience with chemicals is required, just must be open to it. We've had candidates do well from the Army.
After wet lab they go to Quality control which is in a separate quite room. For quality control candidates that will be inspect parts in process (visual and dimensional) to ensure only conforming parts move forward to the next manufacturing processing steps. They will use a microscope that projects onto a monitor. They sift through the parts by rolling them
Performs visual and dimensional inspections of parts coming out of the wet lab
Ensure only conforming parts ship to the customer
Once confirmed to be conforming, count out (mostly weigh counting) and pack the parts up in clean protective packaging in preparation for shipping.

-Candidates must have experience performing hands on assembly or quality inspection experience.
-Someone working on an assembly line performing a simple repetitive task is not going to be a good fit.
-Good attitude and easy going
-Good job tenure
-Open to being cross trained on multiple positions
*Candidates who are mechanically inclined such as a mechanic or entry level maintenance mechanic will also be a fit based on their experience using hand/power tools, troubleshooting equipment.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLSs:
-Small parts experience
-Use of microscope or magnifying glass to inspect parts
-Experienced working with medical or military parts
-Able to operate CNC or lasers machines
