Description Requirements & Skills:

　　At least 5 years’ experience on IBM i/iSeries/AS400 supporting systems and partitions.

　　Working knowledge of CL/RPG/RPGLE programming language.

　　Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot IBM i.

　　Ability to analyze existing code to determine if existing code has flaws which are producing undesirable results.

　　Manage backups of data.

　　Handle daily requests from users for both trouble tickets and enhancements.

　　Analyze requests for programming, write functional and technical specifications to accommodate requested needs.

　　(In the future) Work with management team to develop solutions to increase productivity and efficiency.

　　Develop estimates within given time and cost constraints to develop new or redesigned programs.

　　Establishes and maintains a project implementation schedule and summary for all projects.

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

　　Excellent problem-solving skills.

　　Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

　　Excellent communication and organization skills.

　　Attention to detail (this person would eventually have access to data at the file level and would need to understand how all things work together for the organization).
