RoadSafe recognizes and values diversity.Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing Traffic Control Department on multiple Traffic Control projects. Insures that all crews and management associates are following corporate safety policies at all times. Duties include managing employees, effective and efficient project staffing by communicating with associates, customers, and agencies to create cost effective staffing, customer relations as necessary. Project managers assure training of staff and coordinate new hire training, and responsible to make sure Traffic Control personnel communicated to regarding policy, procedures, and job assignments. Interact with other personnel regard project specifics including, manpower, materials, equipment, and times. Visit and perform site audits as directed.Essential Functions and Duties:* Execute all projects safely.* Execute all projects in conformance with the scope of the contract.* Assure customer quality standards are meet to level of the plans and specs in the most cost-effective way.* Coordinates all outside labor needs.* Manages assigned projects as directed by Traffic Control Manager* Develop employee schedules, manage personnel on projects, making sure times are recorded and reported on time.* Deliver the project on time or report deviations to plan to Traffic Control Manager* Manage branch field needs including equipment and DOT compliance.* Participate in staffing decisions, discipline, and other personnel related decisions. .* Assist Traffic Control Manager with other duties and assignment as directed.* Mentor project personnel to help improve skills.* Supply the team with the resources it needs to execute their daily assignments.* Provide superior customer service by providing solutions and solving customers problems.* Documenting project status periodically and in complete final close-out report* Place traffic cones and other traffic safety devices in work area.* Check work zones throughout shift to be sure items are still in their proper location.* Perform TCT field work when necessary.* Work with Shop Manager to assure vehicles and equipment are in proper working order.
Position RequirementsRequirements** ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.* Proven ability to communicate to employees, customers, state and local governmental agencies, and at the District level.* Understands the importance of a safety culture...
