The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsiblefor ongoing process improvement initiatives that deliver excellenceacross entire value chain. The Industrial Engineer will utilizeenterprise standards to lead process improvement initiatives byimplementing policies, procedures and process documentation related tocontinuous improvement directives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Significant contributions to the implementation of Generac FulfillmentSystem (GFS) across Order-to-Cash process (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver &Service). Responsible for leading and coordinating the successful launchof New Product Introductions (NPI) within operations. Lead andcontribute to facility transformation, technology transfer and ongoingmaintenance of mixed model lines or value streams. Lead and ensureongoing success of process improvement initiatives by implementingpolicies, procedures and process documentation. Lead and implementdemand driven principals and strategies that supports operationalexcellence and long range plans. (Flexibility, Speed & Responsiveness)Lead and ensure product, material and information streams flow and aresynchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost ofoperation. Leader in creation of innovative ideas to improve businessresults. Deploy standard Generac tools, methodologies, standards,practices and processes. Lead and implement objectives to includecontinuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction andfulfillment needs. Work closely with shop floor personnel to promoteongoing Continuous Improvement of manufacturing methods, systems andcontrols. Responsibility for area layouts, process definition, andequipment justification, selection, and implementation.
