About the Role
The Cleaning Operations Lead owns the day to day aspects of our cleaning partner relationships; They will make regular visits to our partners, providing regular daily feedback on quality issues, process outstanding claims, troubleshoot any technological problems our cleaning partners might have.
This individual will work with our cleaning partners to identify performance issues, suggest solutions, and ultimately implement new processes. This person should be comfortable with written and verbal communication, as he or she will frequently visit our cleaning partners.
In this role, you will become the on-the-ground expert in Rinse laundry production, quality control, and technology troubleshooting. This person will work closely with the local City Manager and National Rinse team to implement process improvements with our laundromat employees. This person should be comfortable with written and verbal communication (Spanish fluency is a plus).
Top performers in this role will eventually grow into a bigger role that includes bringing best practices in cleaning production to Rinse’s partner facilities across the boroughs of New York City and New Jersey.
Main Objectives of this role include:
Helping cleaning partners achieve a quality score of over 97%.
Achieve monthly production targets.
Reduce customer-reported defects in cleaned clothing
Achieving 100% technology adoption with all our Laundromat employees.
Maintaining a positive relationship between Rinse and our cleaning partners.
Expected Tasks and duties of this role:
Owns day-to-day cleaning partner relationships, including:
Provide performance feedback daily
Coordinate with vendor to troubleshoot tech tools
Owns day-to-day local cleaning operations, including:
Process local special orders (stain, repair, and damage)
Manage local’s internal issues queue
Oversee the equitable distribution of garments between cleaning partners.
Execute daily cleaning partner strategy set by local City Operations Manager.
Execute company wide initiatives through collaboration with the Central Cleaning Operations team.
Track weekly performance of cleaning partners through CP KPIs
Cleaning Partner audits: track input/outputs, suggest improvements that have a positive impact on Rinse and CP business.
As the ideal candidate, you...
Are a strong communicator (written and verbal; Spanish fluency is a plus)
Have strong interpersonal skills; you build relationships of collaboration and trust.
Have strong proficiency in new technology
Love solving problems in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Enjoy working autonomously but with extensive collaboration with other Rinse team members.
Have a track record driving change through others. Past supervisory experience is a plus.
