Job Summary The primary purpose of this position is to support of the Cash Management Services Operations teams. the Fraud and Risk Analyst provides support and daily execution within the department to validate a proactive and risk-based evaluation of activities that are being completed to reduce risk. The primary purpose of this position is to support of the Cash Management Services Operations teams. the Fraud and Risk Analyst provides support and daily execution within the department to validate a proactive and risk-based evaluation of activities that are being completed to reduce risk. The person will understand cash movements processes and fraud responsibilities that impact them. What will you do? Request status of fraud cases from clearing banks; BNY (client check writing and external ACH), US Bank (wires and check deposits) and Wells Fargo (wires, internal ACH and disbursement checks) for all types of fraud Analyze and resolve escalated problems while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and firm policy requirements. Work closely with Risk Prevention on inquiries about fraud cases and provide information as needed for monthly reporting. Send notification to the field on Visa debit cards that have been compromised and/or have suspicious activity. Process and resolve errors for settlement, checking, Visa and external ACH accounts. Oversight all micr/checking account number changes that have been processed due to fraud (10/01/22) Review, design, and implement new processes/process changes and procedures to increase department efficiency, reduce risk, or enrich service. Participate in business requirement development, UAT testing, end-user training, and implementation support for enhancements and new firm initiatives for changing technology systems, supporting department processes. What do you need to succeed? Must-have 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 3+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job specific industry experience 1+ year prior securities, banking, technology industry and/or job specific related industry 3+ years prior experience in money movement activities (ACH, wire transfers, check, etc.) Securities license 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days) Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated use of continuous improvement methodologies Nice-to-have 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field 2+ years business process redesign, robotics & AI, VBA development, MS Access development, analysis and/or risk control experience What's in it for you?
