Description:

• Operate and set up lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts, using the provided MASTERCAM program

• Interpreted technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part

• Conducted regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently

• Measure and examine completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools like micrometers and calipers

• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines

• Adjust, if require, machine settings to optimize production while maintaining quality

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Collaborate with engineers or designers for custom jobs or to refine manufacturing processes

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist with lathe and milling machines

Previous experience machining steel parts

Previous experience with drill, mill, lathe conventional machines

Possesses a DEP in Machining

Ability to work with Mastercam

Ability to read and take measures using the metric system

Schedule:

monday-Friday 7h - 15:30 pm
