Financial Controller (*Hybrid - Onsite at 1-2 days / week)

Your tasks
As the Controller, you willguide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing Belimed policies and procedures. Your role will protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Additionally, you will monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits, as well as providing information to external auditors.
As we do not manufacture in the US, this role would be a better fit for an individual with a business finance background. On-site work will be required at least one day per week and possibly more for important business meetings.
How you will impact Belimed and our clients
Oversee disbursement of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance
Oversee all accounts receivable aging components
Manage the activities of the corporate accounting department for the dissemination of financial management reports
Support the CFO in budgeting and analysis of business operations
Implement and administer established accounting policies, procedures, and practices
Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results
Provide financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets and standards and advice to management
Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Coordinate financial audits
Identify and implement process improvement activities
Contribute to policy development in the area of financial controlling
Conduct analyses and provides recommendations for improvement in both the efficiency and efficacy of corporate operations
Maintain balances at local banks
Manage and motivate a team of professionals within A/R, account and financial analysis
Initiate, coordinate and track financial process improvements and ensure the respect for financial standards and best practices
Participate in and lead special projects
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
3 years of experience successfully supervising and developing direct reports
Strong financial systems experience to include SAP (FI-CO) and reporting systems such as COGNOS, Hyperion or similar
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong process improvement orientation
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
