　　Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Direct Hire Full Time Onsite Maintenance Technician * in our  *Reading, PA Facility.

　　3rd Shift (Friday - Tuesday /10:15 PM - 6:55 AM)

　　Base Rate: $25.75/hr

　　$2.50/hr additional for 3rd Shift

　　You will:

　　Perform mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including printer and mail sorting equipment.

　　Complete preventative maintenance according to Mail Preparation Total Quality Management and vendor operating standards.

　　Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.

　　Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory.

　　Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.

　　Perform all additional duties as required

　　Your background:

　　As an Onsite Maintenance Technician , you have:

　　3-5 years direct experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.

　　3-5 years strong familiarity servicing mailing equipment, conveyer machines, PLC systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, pulleys or any other industrial types of electro mechanical production equipment preferred.

　　An AA degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field of study is preferred.

　　Experience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.

　　Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagram preferred.

　　Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment preferred.

　　Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.

　　The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
