The primary responsibilities will include:Instructional Writing and Design: Write courses and develop resources for child protection caseworkers and supervisors using personal subject matter expertise and partner with instructional designers for the design and development of products.Needs Assessment: Utilize performance data, skills gap analyses, and individual training needs assessments to identify the learning needs of child protection caseworkers and supervisors.Research and Empirical Support: Conduct thorough reviews of professional literature to establish the empirical foundation for the competencies addressed in the training.Quality Improvement: Work closely with continuous quality improvement staff to evaluate the effectiveness of training and actively engage in ongoing enhancement initiatives.Trainer Development and Management: Identify and evaluate the qualifications of trainers; prepare trainers to deliver instructor-led courses; and provide technical assistance as needed.Product Implementation: Coordinate the pilot testing of newly developed training products to ensure their effectiveness and relevance; observe and provide feedback to trainers; and work with Regional Training Center staff to deliver courses effectively and efficiently. Manage the organization and distribution of training materials and resources.Program Leadership: Lead programmatic teams and projects in partnership with Regional Training Centers, Ohio Department of Children and Youth staff, and the OCWTP Steering Committee.P
