Description
A prominent healthcare company with offices in Fairfield County, Westchester County, and NYC is seeking a Payroll Associate (this is a hybrid work environment) to join their team. This role reports into the Payroll Director and will take on payroll processing for multiple locations throughout the country. Therefore, candidates with exposure to multi-state payroll processing are extremely encouraged to apply!
Job duties:
Preparation and processing of weekly, bi-weekly and monthly multi-state payroll
Answering questions and resolving issues regarding payroll
Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant government regulations
Recording all payroll transaction records & assist with any customer service issues that arise from any potential discrepancies, as needed
Assisting with outside questions/issues that may arise at any given time with tact and professionalism
Ad hoc duties, as assigned by the Director of Payroll. assignments
Ensuring all payroll activities follow company guidelines.

Requirements
Ideal candidate will have the following experience/background:
3+ years of hands on payroll experience, preferably with exposure to multi-state payroll processing
Working proficiency with payroll software such as ADP, Workday, or other payroll CRM systems
Strong communication skills, friendly/professional demeanor, team player, resourceful
