About This Role:
The Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities (KCCTO) team, within theCollege of Health and Human Sciences, is looking to hire an OfficeSpecialist II to provide specialized administrative support to agrant-funded, statewide professional development project in the area ofchildcare and education that focuses on individuals and programs servingchildren aged birth to thirteen years. This position will be responsiblefor managing customer communications and will serve as the lead forcustomer service interactions related to KCCTO services. This positionwill report to KCCTO\'s Outreach and Engagement Program Coordinator.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Answer incoming phone calls and monitor emailsConnect customers with their course instructors, as neededAssist with various course processes, which may include processingrequests for transfers, transcripts, and certificatesAssist with course registration, enrollments, and completionsManage training rostersAssist with materials inventoryHandle logistical arrangements for in-person trainings and eventsDirect work of student office assistant/sOther duties as assignedWhy Join Us:

KCCTO is the current contracted agency by theKansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) for the EarlyChildhood Workforce Development Project.
The College of Health and Human Sciences is home to six academicdepartments (Applied Human Sciences; Food, Nutrition, Dietetics &Health; Hospitality Management; Interior Design & Fashion Studies;Personal Financial Planning; and Kinesiology), the Center on Aging,Physician Assistant program, and a Nursing partnership with WichitaState University.
