  Fathom5 is an industrial technology company building security-first Brilliant Machines to accelerate Industry 4.0. Our work requires us tothink critically,act boldly, andmove quickly.

  We are looking for an organized, tenacious, and deadline-driven Office Assistant who is naturally fascinated by the operational challenge of growing a small business. The Fathom5 Office Assistant has three primary functions. These functions are office management, finance and administration support, and recruiting.

  Office Management

  Answer office phone and respond to emails to [email protected]

  Restock and order shared supplies for the office

  Keep shared spaces clean and tidy

  Schedule building maintenance when issues arise and maintain relationships with repair technicians

  Manage relationship with property and building manager and assist with the creation of a multi-year real-estate plan

  Finance and Administration Support

  Assist with occasional reporting functions

  Collaborate with Finance & Administration team members to organize and execute administrative tasks.

  Recruiting

  Post jobs and schedule interviews for candidates users the company’s applicant tracking system

  Conduct first-round interview with potential candidates

  Assist with onboarding new employees

  The Fathom5 Office Assistant position requires:

  Clear and effective communication– Written and oral communication skills sufficient to relay information between internal and external stakeholders.

  Discretion– You will be privy to sensitive information. Your ability to be discreet is tantamount to your success in this role

  Quick learning and problem-solving– The ability and desire to grow a small business and tackle administrative hurdles quickly and strategically.

  Passion– A natural disposition and passion for business

  Team-first mentality– The ability and desire to work in a team environment.

  Startup Stamina– Fathom5 is changing the world at the intersection of industrial systems and advanced software. Sometimes changing the world requires long hours, standing for full days at events, and medical clearance for carrying computer equipment as well as occasional travel in support of our customers.

  The Fathom5 Office Manager is an entry-level position and will have these credentials:

  High school diploma

  At least one year of experience in a professional business environment

  Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  $20 - $25 an hour
