The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Offensive Recruiting Coordinator, Football to provide administrative and operational support to staff of the UVA Football program.

　　Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Recruitment Coordination:

　　Serve as the primary point of contact for offensive staff recruiting needs.

　　Coordinate offensive staff for prospect film review.

　　Manage the offensive prospect evaluation pipeline process.

　　Manage the offensive recruiting board.

　　Communication and Reporting:

　　Distribute writing plans for offensive staff every Monday.

　　Provide offensive staff with weekly offer reports.

　　Manage recruiting mass communications, including but not limited to mailouts, emails, graphics, etc.

　　Database Management:

　　Assist with the management and maintenance of ARMS recruiting database.Event Coordination:

　　Assist with the execution of all recruiting events.

　　Assist Director of On-Grounds Recruiting with all prospect visits.

　　Relationship Building:

　　Assist in developing and maintaining relationships between coaches and prospects.

　　Stay informed about recruits by following their social media profiles to gain insights and information about their backgrounds and interests.

　　Materials and Support:

　　Provide coaching staff with impactful recruiting materials to take on the road during all recruiting periods.

　　Evaluate all prospect transcripts prior to an offer being extended and confirm core GPA.

　　Logistical Support:

　　Assist Director of Recruiting with the coordination of coaches’ travel.Availability:

　　Must be available to work home football games and bowl games, as needed. This includes potential work on holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

　　Must be available to work early mornings/late nights/weekends, on occasion, with little notice.

　　Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

　　Ability to maintain professional calendars with frequent changes, using software such as Microsoft Outlook and iCalendar.

　　Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of personnel, both within and beyond the University.

　　Excellent written communication skills.

　　Ability to take direction, work independently and as a member of the team.

　　Attention to detail, ability to organize and execute projects by stated deadlines.

　　Ability to represent the Football Program in a professional manner and work with tact on complex, sensitive, and confidential issues.

　　Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.

　　Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

　　Creativity and problem-solving skills.

　　Required qualifications:

　　Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4+ years) related experience.

　　Experience: Some working knowledge of a Football program.

　　Preferred qualifications:

　　2+ years of experience with recruiting/player personnel in a collegiate sport program (Football highly preferred).

　　General knowledge of prospect evaluations and football personnel.

　　General knowledge of the game of Football and ACC Football; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

　　Experience utilizing Apple products (iPhone and Mac Computers).

　　Experience with Internal UVA systems such as Workday, Teamworks, ARMS, and DocuSign.
