  Your Role and Responsibilities

  As an Software Engineer, you would be responsible for deploying IBM Middleware suite of products with flair knowledge on Scripting.

  Be a trusted Advisor of the Customer on Integration space.

  Work for smooth delivery of assigned projects

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment

  Be a hands-on person and deliver.

  Will be involved in product installation/ configurations, troubleshooting (performance, 3rd party integrations, security)

  Based on customer requirements, deliver the deployment.

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  Must have minimum 12-18 year's experience Configure cloud infrastructure and management solutions

  Work with the DevOps team to provide cloud support and deployment for existing/new projects

  Provide troubleshooting support for clients

  Perform administrative processes for all cloud systems, including installation, backup, security, array management and software patching

  Familiarization with AWS/Azure/GCP. knowledge of CP4I,

  Experience working with hosted applications or large-scale application deployments

  Good understanding of Linux tools

  Solid development-level experience with multiple programming languages and experience writing patches or pull requests

  Strong understanding of container technologies, OpenShift v4, CoreOS, Kubernetes, Cloud skills, and networking protocols

  Knowledge of Unix and Windows platforms

  Proficiency in networking skills, such as UDP and TCP

  Troubleshoot technical issues (networking, web apps, operating system, file system and user management) in the deployment of high-speed file transfer software in enterprise

  Knowledge of Windows Active Directory/Group Policy, LDAP, SAML, SSO, etc.

  Scripting skills, such as Unix shell, Windows batch, Perl, Ruby or Python

  Basic skills in database server (MySQL) administration

  Communication and customer focus skills -be able to understand customer problems and articulate current status to customers

  Ability to communicate action plans to the client or IBM representative as appropriate

  Ability to recommend and implement new or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, and processes

  Knowledge of Windows/Unix and IP networks

  Good understanding of Linux tools, with an emphasis on curl, strace, wireshark and using git

  Knowledge of Linux operating system; Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certificate is a plus

  Familiarity with technologies like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, containers, and Ansible cloud management

  Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  Knowledge of Linux, OCP, scripting language - shell/python etc.

  Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) to automate tasks and implement monitoring solutions.

  Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Middleware, Python (web frameworks)

  Strong communication, written, and presentation skills

  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  Ability to work independently and lead the team of junior developers as per the situation

  Ability to guide team members on technical & non-technical issues during execution

  Good vision on solving customer issues, set proper expectations and clear/concise communication with customer

  Red Hat OpenShift Certification - preferred

  Communication and customer focus skills - be able to understand customer problems and articulate current status to customers

  Provide troubleshooting and technical advice for IBM customers

  Provide technical leadership and guidance to both customers and internal project teams that are geographically distributed

  Produce coherent knowledge base articles to enable customers to resolve issues without further escalation

  Provide technical support assistance to clients and/or IBM field support using problem determination/problem source identification skills

  Use technical and negotiation skills in collaboration with other support operations/organizations to prioritize and diagnose problems to resolution

  Communicate action plans to the client or IBM representative as appropriate

  Recommend and implement new or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, and processes

  Applicants must be willing to work on a weekend rotation to lead diagnosis of critical customeroutages.

  This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date and proof of vaccination status will be required before your start date.
