　　Our rehab team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is eager to welcome an Occupational Therapist to their tight-knit department. This team focuses primarily on orthopedic and neurological out-patient cases, but partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community.

　　The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools, and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.

　　This position is part-time (48 hours per pay period) with weekend requirements and is located at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista Hospital. In case of low census there is the likelihood of working at our sister facility, Mercy San Diego.

　　Requirements: **

　　· Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy

　　· Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of California

　　· Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

　　Preferred Experience: **

　　· At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
