Working in a close-knit team environment, as well as organizational ability for multi-tasking and flexibilityOccasional travel to customer sites in the US and Canada is required as needed.Ensures management of customer expectations and resolution of technical issues in a timely manner.Develop and maintain troubleshooting skills on all Check Point products and technical knowledge in industry standard based technologies#LI-SU1Qualifications5-8 years of relevant enterprise level networking and Internet Security technology experience.Experience with Check Point products required.Strong understanding of networking and operating system functions of RHEL or other Linux based servers.Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN technologies.Strong understanding of the OSI model on Layers 1-4.Experience with traffic analyzing tools like Wireshark.Understanding of how common TCP/UDP connections are established based on their protocol.Working knowledge of ARP, VoIP (H.323, SIP), and routing protocols such as OSPF & BGP.Basic programming skills, with the ability to read and develop simple UNIX shell scripts using Bash.Experience providing support to direct customers, resellers, O&M, and field personnel in resolving company product related issues.Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.This is a hybrid work from home position that requires two days in the office per week, in locations where a Check Point office is present.EOE M/F/Veterans/Disabled
