Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Grass Valley California. The hospital has been providing compassionate quality health care to residents and visitors of western Nevada County since 1958. As an affiliate of the nationally recognized Dignity Health system we ensure the highest standard of health care to our patients and have access to important regional resources throughout the system including the Dignity Health Heart Vascular Institute the Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California and the Dignity Health Cancer Institute of Greater Sacramento. Responsibilities

Provides occupational therapy including assessments and developing and implementing treatment programs.

Provides treatment for multiple diagnoses and levels of care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the patient. Interprets knowledge needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.

Knowledge of: Human anatomy and physiology with emphasis on musculoskeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. Medical terminology. Current occupational therapy techniques, standards, principles and procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

Current California license as an Occupational Therapist

Current BLS Healthcare Provider

Knowledge of: Human anatomy and physiology with emphasis on musculoskeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. Medical terminology. Current occupational therapy techniques, standards, principles and procedures.

Pay Range

$42.69 - $61.91 /hour
