Job Overview
The Occupational Safety and Health Program Manager is responsible for establishing and assuring the effective and efficient implementation and execution of Occupational Safety and Health programs and activities.
This position is contigent upon contract award.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Job Functions:
Establishes and maintains the Occupational Safety and Health program assuring compliance with all applicable contract, federal and state laws and regulatory requirements.Develops and conducts comprehensive safety and occupational health training.Collects and analyzes data required to satisfy all government and Corporate safety reporting requirements. Prepares and submits all government and Corporate required safety and occupational health reports.Conducts safety and occupational health inspections.Develops, in coordination with supervisors, safety checklists, internal work standards, inspection guides, and inspection schedules for each contract service provided.Provides accurate evaluations and analyses of past and current trends and projects future trends.Conducts investigations of all personal injury accidents requiring more than on-site first aid treatment and accidents resulting in damage to government and Company property. Prepares required accident reports and tracks applicable data.Conducts audits to ensure procedural compliance, validate inspection results, and to follow-up on actions taken to correct deficiencies.Conducts scheduled safety and occupational health performance meetings with managers.Performs related work as assigned.Job RequirementsMandatory:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Three (3) years experience as an OSH Program Manager.Current certification of Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or the National Association of Safety Professionals (NSAP).Current TWIC identification card.Current valid state issued driver's license with acceptable driving record.Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security clearance if required.Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.U.S. Citizenship.Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.Reasonable Accommodation:
