　　The S pecial Functions Coordinator Food plans, directs and supervises in-house catering operations for hospital special functions and events. The Caterer acts as a liaison between Food and Nutrition Services and other hospital d epartments and interfaces with vendors and key service users. We offer a dynamic work environment where you can expand your potential on a team that cares like family .

　　What you will do in this role:

　　You will manage event staffing, set-up, service, and break down of catered foods and beverages.

　　You will ensure that appropriate sanitation and safety standards are met through the use of checklists, direct supervision and follow-up.

　　You will identify and select outside vendors and/or rental equipment needed for services.

　　You will create and sustain a high level of customer satisfaction.

　　What q ualifications y ou w ill n eed:

　　Vocational / Technical training preferred

　　Minimum one (1) year of food service experience in quantity food preparation/production in a hospital, extended care facility, or other quality food service operation preferred; previous experience in a hospital highly preferred.

　　ServSafe Manager certification required. Current employees required within 6 months of signing this job description.
