PRN RN Job Highlights:

Must have one year previous experience.Current licensure in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse.Current CPR Registration.Maintenance of required CEU's.Good problem solver with abilities to make independent judgments utilizinginitiative, discretion and the nursing process as needed.Demonstrates leadership ability.Effective communicator with staff, families and outside agencies.Ability to prioritize duties.Clinical competence to utilize the nursing process to perform physical andcognitive assessments of residents.Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such astimekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.Must be a team player.Must be willing to work for a facility that is following infection controlprecautions and regularly testing for COVID-19; the vaccination is requireddue to company policy and state healthcare regulations.Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in long-term care preferred.Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer servicetechniques.

The Volunteers of America National Services Colorado Float Team is a team ofexperienced professionals that assist in the facilities that we serve, suchas the Senior Community Care Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly(PACE), Horizons Health Care Center, Valley Manor Care Center, theHomestead at Montrose, and Home Health of Western Colorado. As a PRNemployee, you will enjoy ultimate flexibility and work as little as 4 shiftsper month or full-time hours, it is YOUR choice.
