  Plans and schedules inbound flow of material in support of customer demands. Works cross functionally to generate and lead initiatives that will improve fill rates, inventory goals, and serviceability and reduce the length of our supply chain by performing the following duties

  Primary Duties (5-7 Key responsibilities)

  Determine appropriate order quantity and frequency, select appropriate vendor and place purchase orders for assigned product lines, ensuring fill rates and targeted inventory levels are achieved.

  Fulfill supply chain responsibilities as an active member of a cross-functional team. Manage continuity of supply and inventory investments in accordance with mission critical business objectives (e.g. Fill Rates, Inventory).

  Execute material planning, buying, expediting, and optimization initiatives in support of assigned product lines.

  Report root cause analysis weekly on Supply Chain issues resulting in poor Fill Rate performance.

  Execute and support initiatives that impact cross functional team goals such as profitability, sales growth, E&O reduction and inventory optimization.

  Support Supplier Relationship Management strategies that are developed and deployed by Procurement

  Identify and resolve daily issues that may affect team or individual goals and objectives.

  Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

  Interact with Operations to ensure serviceability of the customer.

  Qualifications:

  0-2 years’ experience as a business professional or military officer

  Strong written and oral communications skills

  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  Demonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaboration

  Proven analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  Proficient computer skills – particularly Microsoft Office applications

  ERP/MRP – SAP

  Written and oral Mandarin a plus

  Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.

  Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

  Education And/Or experience:

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited University with concentration in one or more of the following disciplines; Management, Supply Chain, Operations or, Business.

  0-2 years’ experience as a business professional or military office
