Job Description

Nurse Leader – MSK Ambulatory Care Services (MSK Westchester)

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Nurse Leader at our Rockefeller Ambulatory Outpatient center. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on our team and in the lives of our patients and their families.

Position Overview:

Work in a highly collaborative interprofessional practice environment.

Plan, direct and manage the clinical and operational functions of the ambulatory care services of Medical Oncology, Neuro Oncology, and Rehabilitation during all hours of operation.

Provide clinical and administrative leadership for nursing staff by developing and implementing programs, services, procedures, and quality nursing standards to ensure exemplary care for patients undergoing treatment at MSK.

Will play a pivotal role in offering transformational leadership by creating and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports, furthers, and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice, and patient safety.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration

National Certification is a plus

A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience

Demonstrated leadership skills

Core Skills:

Outstanding communication and self-awareness.

Mentorship and coaching abilities to support nursing staff development.

Critical thinking and problem-solving to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Adaptability and resilience to lead change and innovation.

Collaboration and building trusting relationships.

Understanding of financial principles, resource allocation, and cost management.

Additional Information:

Location: 500 Westchester Avenue, West Harrison, NY 10604

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation as needed

Reporting to the Director Nursing (Ambulatory Services)

Pay Range: $146,100.00 - $241,100.00.
