Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. It is one of the area’s largest and most comprehensive medical centers. Dedicated to the community’s well-being our staff and volunteers provide excellence in care for our patients each year. Responsibilities

Registered Nurse ICU

$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.

Our 11-bed general medical / surgical ICU units also treats the sepsis patients at Mercy San Juan and is completely staffed by RNs who provide excellent patient care via hourly assessments. The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

Qualifications

Minimum:

1 year as a Registered Nurse in an acute care critical care unit

Current California RN License

Current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association

Other certifications may be required

Pay Range

$65.29 - $79.28 /hour
