Key Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory accuracy and control of material stores including finished goods and raw materials
Package, stage, and ship finished goods. When necessary, expedite critical shipments
Assist with cycle counting
Responsible for the flow and movement of materials to and from the factory
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement daily by your actions
Take the initiative to resolve materials related issues with interaction from supervisor/Manager
Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers, and suppliers
Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions. Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor
Able to work with minimum or no supervision
Practice 5s standards and keep area clean daily
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs. (may not exceed per EHS policies)
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
1-year experience related to materials and/or shipping/receiving
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years’ experience related to materials and/or shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ERP and/or SAP systems
Certified Forklift Operator Certificate
Ability to use electric weight scales
