Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for an exceptional, patient focused SANE, Nurse Educator to join our Emergency Department team and make a difference for our patients and our community. This position provides successful support of the SANE program through communication, operational knowledge of the program and hospital policy, and builds rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, and outside agencies. Supports professional development opportunities and coordinates education for new hires and ongoing education for the SANE team. Assist with coordination of meetings, communications, policy development and review, grant writing, research, and community relations. Our Emergency Department (ED) is comprised of 50,000 square feet of clinical space with 55 treatment rooms. An additional 8,000 square feet houses the resident room, library, conference space and administrative offices. It also includes private rooms, in-department radiology suite, discharge pharmacy, waiting room and triage area, employee lounge and locker room, and five care areas (pods), including an 11-bed care pod for our crisis/behavioral health patients. It is designed to treat patients in acuity-based care pods. You will find yourself in a fast-paced environment with over 90,000 ED visits per year. Join our team and make good happen! Work schedule: Day shift, working 8 AM-4 PM and 9 AM -5 PM Required Qualifications: Completion of bachelor's degree in nursing Completion of 40-hour SANE Training SANE Certification within 12 months of hire 2 years SANE experience required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota.
