　　Clinical Coordinator

　　Responsibilities

　　This position is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the daily operational responsibilities for the area,

　　This individual will work in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Director and Nurse Manager of the unit to develop and manage all aspects of patient care, personnel, performance improvement and to ensure the safe, efficient, and economical operations of the unit are met,

　　Will provide clinical support as needed, if qualified and within ones scope of practice and will function in accordance with all Federal, state and regulatory agencies and abide to the RWJBarnabas core values, policies and procedures,

　　The Clinical Coordinator will utilize the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of cardiac and stroke patients, identify a plan of care implement and evaluate the care given,

　　Provide direct and indirect care to patients and lead the patient care team toward goal achievement, coordinate and direct care given by other team members,

　　Address system issues to facilitate the provision of quality and efficient care, while delegating appropriately to other team members and acting as a mentor,

　　Qualifications:

　　Education and Training

　　Registered Nurse

　　Bachelors of Science in Nursing actively enrolled in program

　　Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:

　　BLS

　　NJ Registered Nurse License

　　Skills:

　　Strong leadership skills

　　Demonstrate excellent communication

　　Excellent time-management and problem solving skills

　　A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in input specifics
