Job Title: Nuclear Operations Instructor

System One is currently seeking experienced Nuclear Operations Instructors for two contract opportunities with our client, a leading commercial nuclear power plant in Berwick, PA. These positions will play crucial roles in supporting a new license class through July 2025. We welcome applications from candidates seeking full time long-term contract work.
Responsibilities:
Assignment #1, estimated duration April 2024 - July 2025:
Candidate must have obtained a BWR SRO license or certification and can lead classroom and floor instruction.
Work on a dayshift 4-10 schedule.
Assignment #2 , estimated duration July 2024 - July 2025:
Conduct a combination of classroom and simulator instruction.
Position requires experience operating a nuclear simulator booth (PWR, BWR is preferred).
Candidates must have obtained a BWR SRO license or certification and can lead classroom and floor instruction.
General Responsibilities:
Develop and update training materials in accordance with industry standards.
Create and revise exam content to assess trainee comprehension and performance.
Execute basic nuclear instructor duties.
Qualifications:
Prior BWR SRO license or certification
Previous experience in conducting fundamentals and operator systems classroom instruction.
Experience operating a nuclear reactor simulator booth for specific position outlined above.
Proficiency in Vision is desirable, but not mandatory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
