THE ROLE:
As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for executing the Go-To-Market strategies of Logitech G´s Simulation, Console and Creator business in the Nordics. You will report to the regional Marketing Manager Gaming in the Nordics and help identify, evaluate and drive business opportunities within your categories, with the overall aim to gain market share, drive revenue and build brand equity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a rolling 4 quarter marketing plan aligned with local and EMEA priorities in order to drive brand equity and revenue growth
Work closely with the regional Marketing Manager Gaming and EMEA Category leaders to ensure that the local marketing plan is appropriate to local needs
Ensure that the local marketing plan reflects the priorities of the business and is based on key and actionable consumer insights
Collaborate with local sales team in order to align and secure targets
Communicate the marketing plan to key stakeholders and act as an advocate and champion for Logitech G´s Simulation, Console & Creator portfolio
Take ownership for NPI´s (New Product Introductions), manage execution (both offline and online) and ensure proper ROI tracking of activities
Brief and excite local management and sales teams on upcoming product introductions.
Develop and launch ATL & BTL marketing campaigns together with Marketing Manager
Launch necessary POS installments
Manage the successful implementation of the plan within the defined budgets (MDF and OPEX) & within the given timelines
Work closely with the local sales- and field sales force to ensure best-in-class execution online & offline
Conduct market visits to follow-up on the implementation in-store
Track campaign results and share with key stakeholders
If necessary, drive adjustments of the plan throughout the fiscal year
Share best practice both locally and within EMEA
Managing the category portfolio
Work with the key account managers to define the marketing activities (MDF) required for each retailer account and quarterly align plans with the Marketing Manager.
Create and follow up strategic annual plan with top customers
Work with key account managers to formulate local trade marketing needs at key customers.
Attend customer meetings in the region
Develop and launch strategic product bundles with key partners across the region
Define account specific KPIs and follow up on results
Understand the basics of the category P&L
Identify gaps in category portfolio and act if opportunity arises
Drive brand & E-sport partnerships in the Nordics
Take ownership of local partnership strategy for Logitech G Simulation & Console Gaming in Nordics
Identify & secure key Nordic partners for joint partnerships to drive awareness and engagement for our brands
Increase our presence and help build the Nordic E-racing ecosystem
Tune in and engage local grass root gaming communities
Create high impact brand presence at selected consumer / gaming events across the region
Further develop and amplify our existing partnership with Inferno Online & Swedish E-sport Federation (SESF)
Assist regional Marketing Manager in strategic E-sport partnerships
Management of external agencies
Take responsibility in managing external agencies to ensure a best-in-class and cost effective execution of the required services
Agencies to manage: Media agency, PR and Trade Marketing agencies, Activation agencies, Design agency
Management of key strategic influencers / creators
Together with local PR agencies identify and secure relevant influencers for Logitech G
Create an annual plan with influencer to build awareness and engagement for our brands
Follow up on performance of influencer collaboration and share with local management team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
+3 years in Product Marketing, Brand Management and or Agency experience
Must have knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, social media, PR and retail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Must have experience with a consumer facing brand in hardware, consumer electronics or gaming hardware / software.
Experience in planning and executing consumer / customer events
Positive if applicant has experience in working on a Nordic level
Great communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong project management and planning skills
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Positive, dynamic and flexible mindset. Highly self motivated and autonomous
Enjoys playing video / PC games and has an eager interest in the gaming industry and knowledge of the nordic gaming landscape
