　　Main Ingredients of the Job

　　Driver Trainer - Train all new hire drivers & supervise all driver trainers.Participate in the Safety Performance Team and ensure that safety is a key focus.Train and mentor new drivers on company policies, procedures, and monitor compliance/performance.Perform customer site visits to determine feasibility of delivery.Partner with the Night Warehouse Supervisors on safety and visual aids/demonstrations.Perform post-accident ride-a longs with drivers to assist in identifying root cause analysis and re-training as necessary.Participate in offsite training and developmental opportunities.Must satisfactorily complete all company mandated trainings and assessments including US Foods Driver Onboarding program.Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery timesCarefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areasVerify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signaturesHandle collections and payments from customers when applicableProfessionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience

　　Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift requiredComfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

　　What You Bring to the Table

　　Register to the FMCSA ClearinghouseMust be at least 21 years of ageMust have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualificationsMinimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry requiredAbility to operate manual transmission preferredMust be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
