　　DESCRIPTION OF WORK

　　This is an internship in the PennDOT Communications Office. As a Press Office Intern, you will assist in researching, compiling, and preparing information releases to keep the public informed about our agency's mission and activities. In addition to print work, you will assist with digital media work, which includes transcribing videos, as well as recording content for audio, video, and graphic purposes. You will also be responsible for converting press releases into blog posts and associated social media content.

　　Internship opportunities associated with this posting will be for Engineering District 11 which consists of Allegheny, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties.

　　Work Schedule and Additional Information:Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Some positions may require travel.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
