  THE POSITION

  Are you a dedicated professional ready to move forward in your career? This is a beginning level position that is responsible for examining and auditing broker-dealer firms and investment advisers registered or required to be registered in Pennsylvania. You will have the opportunity to determine compliance with federal, state and other regulatory requirements and insure investor protection. As part of the examination process, this position may conduct investigations of entities and individuals who are offering or selling securities in Pennsylvania.   DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  In this role, you will independently, or with senior examiners, plan and conduct examinations and/or investigations. This position confers with supervisor and/or assigned staff to develop examination schedules, interview registrants and analyze examination and investigation issues. The position will also prepare detailed examination and investigative memos, reports and other related items.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment.

  Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. These positions may eventually be home headquartered. During the training period, employees will be part time or full time telework at management discretion.

  Salary: Starting salary is non-negotiable.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  A bachelor’s degree including or supplemented by nine credits in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field;or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes nine college credits in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field.

  Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credit.
