The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and performance of our telecommunications network. This position involves monitoring network activities, diagnosing technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal service quality for our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Diagnose & triage network incidents and outages promptly, following established protocols and procedures.
Operate and manage network monitoring tools to effectively track network health and performance.
Maintain accurate and detailed incident records, documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
Participate in scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to network services.\
Adhere to security protocols and best practices to safeguard network integrity and data.
Escalate technical issues to senior technicians/engineers for investigation and resolution.
Effectively communicate network status, incidents, and resolutions to internal teams, stakeholders, and partner carriers.
Monitor network performance, analyze alerts, and proactively identify issues to ensure continuous network uptime and service quality.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (or Diploma) or equivalent in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in a network operations center or network support role.
Proficiency in network monitoring tools and incident management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
Experience working in a telecommunications or service provider environment.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to follow agreed processes and procedures.
Organize time efficiently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with telecommunications technologies such as 2G/3G/4G.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and architectures.
Commitment to adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
Collaborative mindset, capable of working within a team-oriented environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment, including rotating shifts.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear incident reporting and coordination.
