Warehouse Specialist (Night Shift)

System One is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist on a 1 month contract position located in Broken Arrow, OK.
Warehouse Specialist Responsibilities:
Shipping and receiving
Receive all incoming parts and materials
Verify contents to equal what has been ordered on PO, Obtain packing list from shipment and verify contents of box or crate, and File packing slip
Stage parts or place in inventory, Assign incoming parts to designated locations with description of part and work order number, Inform site personnel of order status and/or received shipments
Prepare and ship any outgoing parts for repair, Provide crates or sufficient packaging to minimize damage in shipping, Contact freight companies and provide Bill of Lading, and Generate Shipping label for parcel shipments from online website.
Inventory
Issue out of Maximo inventory checked out by plant personnel., Maintain sign out sheet for items checked out to be recorded by date and time and Issue items against work order and verify inventory stock quantity matches system.
Order and re-stock inventory items as needed and Obtain updated pricing and issue PO for parts.
Perform yearly Inventory cycle count of all items on site.
Other
Order and re-stock site consumables
Perform monthly PM’s for First Aid and Company Truck.
Track maintenance on site mobile equipment.
Purchasing (Shared Responsibility with Office Manager)
Obtain quotes from Vendors for parts and services, Obtain multiple quotes for parts or services required by Purchasing Procedures, As required fill out Quote Summary as part of PO approval process
Create PO’s in the system from purchase requisitions, receive approval and forward to Vendor, Forward PO’s to owner as required including quote & Quote Summary
Track Invoices, purchase requisitions & purchase orders as required to insure local, state and federal laws and regulations are being followed, Purchase orders and invoices to be recorded on Monthly Spreadsheet to track dollar amount assigned to vendor in 60 day period.
Develop and implement multi-year contracts for designated site vendor services, Receive multiple quotes to determine the vendor that will best provide services for plant, Sign contract provided by vendor, or create our own, and maintain of fill, Track vendor as they provide products and services for plant.
Determine orders being requested are material or inventory, If material, order product to be issued against the work order provided upon receipt. Place order in staging area with description and work order number provided, If Inventory, determine how many to be ordered for immediate use and how many for stock, Create inventory part number in system and assign an inventory location for stocking.

Warehouse Specialist Requirements:
Demonstrates detailed knowledge of all facets of warehouse operations.
Demonstrates the ability to make competent decisions in emergency situations.
Capable of writing required work related documents, including but not limited to, work requests, and purchase requisitions, preventative & corrective maintenance work orders.
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Maximo software system preferred.
Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Forklift experience required to - Including Fork Lift, Stand-Up Fork Lift, Scissor Lift, T-Rex Extending Fork Lift, Man-Lift
Two to five years of experience in warehouse or related equivalent experience in similar environment.
Two to five years of experience with CMMS software (Maximo preferred).
Operated a forklift for two+ years.
Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Two to five years of experience in warehouse or related equivalent experience in similar environment.
Two to five years of experience with CMMS software (Maximo preferred).
Forklift certification
The employee must be able to climb ladders and access plant equipment.
The employee must be able to respond to audible alarms and radio communications.
The employee may be required to work in a hot/cold or dusty environment at times.
The employee must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally transport up to 100 pounds
