CACI is seeking a cleared Network Systems Support Engineer - Navy Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) to be a part of our team located in Norfolk, VA.
What You’ll Get to Do:
• Conducts technical analysis of product implementation, modifications ,and enhancements to products by specific customer specifications and implementations.
• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solutions by product and customer specifications and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solutions.
• Assess product needs by customer specifications. • Conducts technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives. Acts as a local on-site representative to customer's organization.
• Provide support for the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC LANT) • Support Intermediate Application (iAPP) networked and non-networked solutions.
• Employee performs system and network engineering, analysis, design, implementation, and life-cycle support of computer systems and networks with a focus on the security of those systems and networks.
• Employee performs work involving security, Identity Management, Information Assurance (IA), Key Management Infrastructure, system engineering, design, and installation.
• Provide system and software engineering; software and data testing; network and communication requirements, analysis and documentation of IA requirements and policies relating to communications and computer systems.
• Conduct inspection and testing for fielded and developmental systems.
• Develop security procedures and establish administrative and operational controls to provide project support.

• Provide support for modernization, integration, and sustainment efforts for KMI and cryptographic systems
• Assist in the completion of account inventory actions and resolving technical issues.
• Provide technical assistance for the installation of standalone and networked KMI-related systems
• Provide customer service to the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and US Coast Guard
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• BS or equivalent technical training + 4 yrs related experience
• Active DoD SECRET level security clearance.
• Knowledge of security considerations relative to the use of ports, protocols, and the OSI model; Domain Name Service (DNS); IPv4 routing protocols; router configuration; Packet-filtering, stateful inspection, and application-proxying firewalls; network intrusion detection & prevention systems; email gateways; anti-virus/malware detection, prevention, and response mechanisms; and client-level (host system) security. IPv6 routing and security implementation experience is not required but desirable.
• Knowledge of Federal, DoD, and Navy information assurance vulnerability and compliance programs
• Knowledge of securing Linux and Windows operating systems. • Knowledge of Navy networks (e.g., NMCI, RDT&E, data centers) a plus.
• Meet DOD 8270 Level II requirements upon hire
• Must have prior COMSEC experience
• Must have network engineering/configuration knowledge and experience
