JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Purpose of Position This position is toprovide leadership and be responsible for Network and SecurityOperations team. This position will have responsibility forarchitecting, planning, and executing the technical projects andservices that ensure the security of the credit union. In coordinationwith IT Manager Leadership, this position delivers technical solutionsthat support projects and initiatives to improve the security of theenvironment. This position will report on the cybersecurity program,material cybersecurity risks, projects, and Objectives and Key Resultsincluding Key Performance Indicators of the technical security controls.This position will work with IT management to mentor, lead, and developthe Information Security team staff. Essential Functions Design, build,implement and support enterprise-class networks and security centricsolutions. Propose technical architectures and solutions that enablebusiness needs, leverage existing technologies, thoughtfully introduceinnovative technologies, and enable security. Design securityarchitecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge Identify andcommunicate current and emerging security threats Plan, research, anddesign robust security architectures for any IT project Perform orsupervise vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessmentsCreate solutions that balance business requirements with information andcybersecurity requirements Create documentation and train securityoperations staff on how to operate and maintain the systems. Respondimmediately to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedialsolutions and analysis Regularly communicate vital information, securityneeds, and priorities to upper management Consultation & ExecutionEnsure strategic alignment of technical solutions to Summit\'sorganizational goals Maintain knowledge of how business units leveragetechnology, are affected by change, and could benefit from newtechnology solutions; effectively consult leadership to devise roadmapsto deliver value creation and simplicity to the organization, itsmembers, and employees Understand and direct projects impacting allareas of IT; serves as a technical lead to security and other keyprojects Identify and create automated processes for repeatableworkflows Develop documentation for new procedures, processes, andworkflows Ensure applications, network design, and security systems arefollowing vendor recommended best practices Stay up to date with thelatest technology trends through independent research along withdeveloping roadmaps with critical vendors Continuous Improvement &Technical Support Identify bottlenecks for scalability and performance;synthesizes into thoughtful recommendations to...
