Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer split between Westborough and Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Network Engineer, your primary role will be to participate in a critical Datacenter migration project from Cisco infrastructure to an HP Aruba environment.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the decommissioning of Cisco Datacenter equipment and assist in the transition to an HP Aruba environment

• Engage in standard network configurations, including routing and switching tasks

• Install and configure network equipment as per the project requirements

• Aid in the preparation and testing of network infrastructure for the migration process

• Work collaboratively with other Network Engineers on various project tasks

• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve network issues as they arise

• Maintain precise documentation of all network configurations and changes made during the project

• Engage in the management and configuration of Cisco routers and Palo Alto firewalls

• Exhibit proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Cisco Technologies

• Demonstrate expertise in Aruba Wireless and Datacenter configuration management.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Engineer role or similar

• Proficiency with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Demonstrated experience working with Cisco Routers

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies

• Proven skills in Configuration Management

• Experience working in a Datacenter environment

• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall operations
