Description We are seeking a Network Engineer in Devens, Massachusetts, to join our telecom provider team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive infrastructure frameworks, automating deployment processes, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive framework for infrastructure in line with industry best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and optimize architecture

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to automate deployment and scalability processes

• Create and manage scalable infrastructure templates using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

• Design and implement secure and scalable solutions using cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and traditional networking and datacenter technologies

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members

• Develop engineering standards and best practices related to platform infrastructure

• Participate in the conceptualization and implementation of serverless architectures and microservices

• Manage and optimize resource utilization in both cloud and on-premise environments

• Implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data

• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and scalability

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner

• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for platform infrastructure. Requirements • Possess minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer

• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is mandatory

• Familiarity with Checkpoint Firewall Technologies is expected

• Experience with Cisco ASA is essential

• Ability to work with Cisco Routers and other Cisco Technologies

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Proficiency in Eigrp is required

• Must possess in-depth understanding of Firewall Technologies Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
