Argus Consulting is seeking qualified individuals to fill an entry levelElectrical Engineer position in our Overland Park, KS office.
Projects include fueling systems for commercial airports, rail companiesand military installations worldwide and cover a broad spectrum in size,ranging from small operations to multi-million-dollar fuel storage anddistribution facilities.
Clients include airlines, airports, fixed-base operators, railroads, theU.S. government, ENRs Top 25 Architecture/Engineering Design Firms andENRs Top 10 Design/Build Firms, Fortune 500 companies, fuel-servicingcompanies, and oil companies.

Applicant Qualifications
Bachelors degree required in electrical engineering from accreditedprogram.
Candidates will have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, or areable to do so in the first year of employment.
Capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principlesand practices to broad electrical engineering tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and use of reference files a plus.
Knowledge of lighting and power system design software a plus.
Job Duties May Include:
Provide development of multi-discipline engineering design strategies,studies, drawings and specifications for the construction of aviation(military and commercial), rail, oil and gas and industrial projects.
Infrastructure design: site planning and layout, site utilities (primarypower, communications), interior and exterior lighting design, powerdistribution design, grounding, lightning protection, building systems,instrumentation and controls, CCTV design, short circuit and arc flashstudies, and aircraft 400 Hz ground power systems.
Applying computer-based software to produce design solutions.
