Overview
Element has an opportunity for an entry level NDT Etch Technician who will be trained/qualified to set up, operate and maintain equipment, to perform etch and to interpret, evaluate and document the results in accordance with procedures approved by a Level III.
Responsibilities
Establishing daily etch rates using the weight loss method
Masking Parts and Racking Parts
General knowledge of all chemical processes performed at EMTTank Maintenance / Make up
Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition
Skills / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rule
Etching metal plating experience a plus
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
