　　Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide for Amazon’s Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.

　　We are currently seeking an experienced Music Business Affairs Executive that will support music deals for Amazon Studios content. You will assist with the discussions relating to the creation and distribution of original music for film and television, including discussions with composers, songwriters, music supervisors, recording artists, publishers, and record labels. You will work closely with the Amazon Studios Music team, Studio legal affairs and outside counsel to handle music-related issues as they arise during development, production, and marketing. You will interact with agents, managers, production companies, labels, publishers and outside attorneys, and be able to efficiently communicate status and advise on potential trade-offs with other members of the Amazon Studios team, including Creative, Production, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Legal, as well as Amazon executives outside of Amazon Studios.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　• Applying your comprehensive working knowledge of music issues in film and television, contract law, and intellectual property rights (as applicable to the entertainment industry) to support drafting and communicating (written and verbal) with our internal and external partners.

　　• Using your excellent organizational skills you will be able to work efficiently and effectively in collaborating with colleagues in the department, across the studio and externally to build strong client and partner relationships.

　　• Advising senior-level executives under time-sensitive conditions related to our projects.

　　• Making recommendations to Amazon Studios leadership that will support strategic decision-making and provide risk analysis to generate satisfaction in our deals.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　• Legal qualification

　　• Fluent in French and English

　　• Deep understanding of music rights, business models and industry custom and practice

　　• Multiple years in the entertainment industry, representing or working for a law firm, production company, studio, network, platform, record label, or music publisher

　　• Experience negotiating complex deals within the entertainment industry

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• Ability to understand and devise new business models

　　• Interest in music, film/TV, technology and innovation
