Lead field trips for students in grades 2-12. Use the Boott Mill andsites in Lowell National Historical Park to teach social studies andscience. Work fluctuates during the season;October, November, and April through June are very busy. Museum Teachershave a say in the number and days of the week they are available towork. The weekly schedule is posted and confirmed at leastone week in advance. Workdays are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00p.m. School groups visit from approximately 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. MuseumTeachers follow a specific Program Outline and itinerary each day. Payrate is hourly, with step increases as budget permits. Training isincluded during orientation and scheduled throughout the year.
