ProMedica Toledo Hospital is one of the largest acute-care facilities in the region. 　　Basic Purpose To organize, coordinate and facilitate the relocation of furniture, furnishing, equipment and other items for The Toledo Hospital and Toledo Children’s Hospital and other ProMedica facilities as needed. Typical duties 1. Serve as the primary liaison for moves, removals and relocation of furniture, furnishing, equipment and other items as directed. 2. Serve as the key contact for departments, on and off-site, for moving large items in and out of storage or from department to department as needed. 3. Process request and deliver specialty beds for applicable departments. 4. Operate special equipment to move heavy items. 5. Unload newly purchased furniture, furnishings, equipment and other items. 6. Coordinate on-site reviews as requested by the Engineering Department for remodeling projects 7. Assure compliance with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance reprogram, safety, environmental and infection control standards for all types of moves, removals, and relocations. 8. Set up and clear rooms for special events 9. Participate in educational programs, in services and other meetings 10. Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies 11. Perform custodial and/or housekeeping duties as assigned when not involved in a major moved 12. Perform other duties as assigned.

　　Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a minimum of six (6) months training to become familiar with equipment, materials, supplies, procedures and locations. Must be capable of operating special moving equipment. Must be able to function as an Environmental Services II as needed. Must be able to drive hospital vans or tucks with lifts. Must posses a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
