　　You will be supporting the development of our customers’ vision, accelerate customers’ time to value, and drive a multitude of customer adoption scenarios - from building new solutions to modernizing legacy applications or migrating to cloud. Our consulting solutions ensure that organizations get the best out of MongoDB.

　　Who you are:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

　　Understanding of manual builds/management of MongoDB.

　　Understanding of Ops Manager automation builds/management

　　Experience with design/implementation of MongoDB replica sets and shared clusters.

　　Experience with database performance, scaling, and tuning concepts.

　　Experience with other SQL and NoSQL database technologies (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MariaDB/MySQL, etc.) is preferred.

　　Strong collaboration skills and experience working across multiple teams both within a division and enterprise-wide.

　　Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).

　　Strong Team Lead skills.

　　Strong interpersonal, problem solving, facilitation, and prioritization skills.

　　Strong technical acumen, able to ensure that technical solutions, strategies, practices, and governance deliver business and customer value.

　　Development experience with one or more modern scripting/automation languages (Ansible, Python, etc.).

　　Responsibilities:

　　Build/Configure Mongo replication and sharding.

　　Implement appropriate indexes for performance improvement.

　　Perform fine-tune configurations on MongoDB and servers for performance improvement.

　　Implement optimal backup and recovery.

　　Understand and optimize query performance.

　　Create and publish database health checks to monitoring systems to identify slow queries; replication lags; node failures; index usage patterns; CPU usage; memory usage; locks; number of connections and any other relevant parameters.

　　Evaluate, plan, and perform the DB upgrades.

　　Maintenance during release/outage etc.
